About NRP


Nile River Press (NRP) was founded in July 2004. NRP is an African-American owned publishing company which publishes books about people of African Descent. NRP was created to be a literary voice in the black community, nation and the world. NRP will publish books in the genre of fiction, non-fiction, mystery, biography and autobiography. While NRP will attempt to satisfy a broad readership, its primary mission is to publish literature that will inspire, enlighten, inform, educate and entertain our readers.

About The Publisher & Author:

Frederick L. Hargrove has a B.A. Degree from the University of Massachusetts in Boston, Massachusetts. He attended Northeastern University in Boston. He holds a Masters Degree in Public Administration from the University of the District of Columbia in Washington, DC. Fred has worked in the book industry since 1992 as a bookstore owner and publisher. This is his first novel, and he is presently penning the second novel which he plans to release in 2006. He lives in Upper Marlboro, Maryland.
